July 28, 2024 Update

Dear Valued Guests,

Miette Hot Springs Bungalows is happy to report that our Valley and Property is untouched by the Utopia Fire and is currently in no immediate danger. All staff and guests were safely evacuated on July 22, 2024.

Access to Jasper National Park is restricted and our property will remain closed until we receive direction from Parks Canada.

Please note that our potential re-open date is dependent on several agencies and we are working in close cooperation with Parks Canada to ensure the safest path to reopen. New bookings will be restricted until we have a confirmed date of reopening.

Our little team is now relocated and we are working hard to set up a remote base to answer guests’ concerns and to process forced cancellations. We ask for patience with our response time as we are few and questions are many.

A reminder that Miette Hot Springs Bungalows does not take a deposit at the time of booking. Credit cards are simply per-authorized for the first night stay to guarantee and hold your reservation. This results in a temporary hold for 5-10 business days and is seen as a PENDING transaction on your online credit card statement. This amount is released at the end of that 5-10 day period.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all Jasper residents, business owners and staff. We also wish to thank the Firefighters and all agencies risking their safety to save Jasper, the people’s Park. We are eternally grateful.
